I don't interpret that statement as "Shell wants to build Fisherman's Landing".

I think it is more that Shell doesn't want Arrow to sell CSG acreage to pay for FL. Shell needs the gas (acreage) for Curtis plans. If Shell gain control, I think it may be curtains ("consolidation of projects") for FL, and a major blow to LNG.

If I'm wrong and Shell gain control and build both FL and Curtis, or focus on FL solely - then LNG Ltd will benefit greatly. But I think the likelyhood of this is slim.

The best outcome in my mind is that AOE use the rocketing share price to raise some coin to partially fund FL, and the Shell bid proves inadequate. This probably also low probs, as I think Shell will get AOE eventually.
