I looked on Comsec chart (all data) and took me back to 1987, and looking at the chart it appeared to be at approx.
$2.60. That was in late 87. You can see it had dipped from approx. $4.00 prior to October. They are just approximate prices.

Don't forget in the late 90"s or early 2000's they had the Billiton merger and from memory the share price went from approx. $22 to $11. Could be wrong
