I can't speak for the sellers, I've been searching for reasons myself and this seems to be the only thing that has emerged recently that might explain it. That's not to say I agree with the market's sentiment which is why I have been buying recently.
All the stuff with the Donald leaving isn't really a good case for it because the market has been aware of it for months.
In general, I think regardless of who is in control in Sudan, they will still want to find gold.
More broadly, with all the indicators pointing towards inflation growing - gold is seen as a traditional hedge against inflation which should provide support for the gold price and in turn, demand for Codan's metal detectors.
I also think the Communications business will continue to grow.
What' were getting now is a business that has larger revenues and is more diversified than last year given its strategic acquisitions that are performing really well and you can get that all at less than what it was trading for 12 months ago.
This is very undervalued.
