Best was probably ex father inlaw rip, his boat would always come back with full bags - whiting, garfish, tommys, snook, blue swimmer crabs, squid ..... good spot though lawn to the sand and your boat front of shack ... as early 00 heydays proved - $100k crumby shacks to $1m+ crumby shacks over a few years .... the bay had great wind shelter though and fish were just - throw a line in and bag out...
My favourite fish is still what many throw away - tommy ruffs for breakfast & leather jackets lovely
