I spent 90 minutes yesterday re-spooling, rigging up 4 rods and making sure that I had everything ready for a beach fish with my kids and 3 of their friends. Drove 13k’s to the hot spot for whiting and the beach was chocked with weed.
Ended up at the jetty last night with 4 of the younger kids and ended up with one herring/tommy, I gave that to a young African bloke with a bob/float so he could give himself a chance at landing one himself who turned up just before we went home.
