what we have to realise

Todays news is both sad for CXY, sad for the whole UCG industry and sad for the individuals who have lost their jobs.

CXY however didn't have another choice. When politicians make decisions, fact, logic and reasoning don't enter their processing. I've regretfully had to manage industries umbrellered by politicians. I've never ceased to be shocked by how little they use facts to guide decisions, other then "how many voters will like this".

The lack of leadership in Queensland at this time will do that State no good in the long run. With the baying crowd demanding this. and demanding that, maybe the best thing for CXY to do . . is pack up their kit, their expertise and chase the myriad of other projects that occur in States and Countries where logic and reasoning have a fighting chance.

Long term this remains the world leader of UCG industry, especially given the FACT that it has not broken a single limit.

As I well know from posting facts on this board, there are some who will refute them, ignore them, and bend another message to "prove" a company is the "next best thing". These posters actions alone give politicians the right to do the same.

Now certain posters will no doubt realise that any other "budding" UCG companies are going to face a far, far, far higher cost of entry into this industry than ever before.

We have to hope that logic wins the day, in my experience it usually does . . but unfortunately to political timescales.

I wish there was another stronger buy sentiment, so my sentiment position stays the same. Logic will win through.
