No CN has stated SNE-1 is "very likely " to be commercial , not will be, there is a difference. With Jubilee and almost certainly the same for us, the appraisal wells will become production wells if they prove up and they will be the first wells to be flow tested. There is no way they will be declared commercial untill at least one appraisal well IMO but the fact they are appraising the field means they expect it to be commercial.
It was July 2009 before the development plan was approved by the Gov't at Jubilee about 2 years after the discovery , I'm not sure when it was declared commercial but most likely after the first appraisal well.
It's looking good whichever way you cut it.
