TRADING HALT REQUEST
Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Thor Mining PLC (“Thor”) (AIM, ASX: THR) requests a trading halt pending an announcement in respect of preliminary assays from drilling at the Spring Gold Project in the Northern Territory.
The trading halt request is in response to market speculation about these drilling results. A number of assays have been received from some of the holes drilled, however the complete set and the necessary interpretation is not yet available. The directors believe that the information to be released has limited share price sensitivity.
The announcement will be released to the market prior to the commencement of trading on Monday 17th September upon which the trading halt will cease. Thor is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
