This is a concept trial and as such efficacy AT THIS STAGE OF THE TRIAL is all about the vector and the shRNAs.

Viral load can not be reported as it works in a completely new manner to the current type of drugs. Let's say ninety percent of the virus is gone........ If you were on pills and stopped, it would come back. This is nothing like taking one third of the course. In our case it will likely STAY at ninety percent. Over time, anything may happen to viral load. Hopefully it will stay the same. This will be fabulous proof that it will work at a larger dose. Bear with them, I reckon they DO know what they are doing.
