The Indian subcontinent uses a few different currency measures:
1 lakh = 100,000 rupees
1 crore = 100 lahks = 10,000,000 rupees
So 1 billion rupees = 1,000,000,000 = 100 crores
Now assuming an exchange rate of 40 rupees to AUD$1 (currently around 45), then 1 crore = AUD $250k
So, 1 billion rupees = 100 crores = AUD$25,000,000...or $25m.
I don't believe its $1b aussie dollars.....the company isn't even worth a tenth of that right now right?
