Many people who have considered the situation are sure that at some time in the future (months to a few years) the sole remaining superpower will experience a major deflationary economic event.

So a question for those who have already boarded the good ship SSAu; what sort of world will it be afterwards?

Is it going to be

a. a simple deflation of say 30% and then business as usual.

b. A really major correction where the US finds itself so poor that it becomes just another UK or France, having squandered most of its assets already.
