I believe that SIP have not publicly disclosed when they will pay or when they will release the value of the special dividends. In Sigma's Notice of Meeting and Explanatory Memorandum, they only make a quick mention that the special dividends would be paid after the completion of the transaction, this much is obvious. Apart from that, i can not find any mention of when they intend to make their announcement. Sadly, I do not think that the amount or date will be released during January, so early February would be my best guess. They usually have their ex-dividends at the beginning of March and the payment during the end of March or beginning of April. I think that they will follow a similar pattern in this case....... So yet again, SIP holders must be patient.
