Its always good to coattail after a TO. Good people always end up with even bigger companies after a TO. It will be worthwhile to follow where OZL head honchos go after this. My investment followed:
- Jake Klein to Catalpa/Conquest/EVN after SINO Gold got taken over by ElDorado.
- Golden China Resources Neil Swan and Alan Roberts was taken over by Sino. Followed them when they made Lihir Gold and they made me a lot of money again when NCM bought out Lihir... These days they are into WAF and a few other investments via Tauross Investment
- More recent compared to above, I followed R. Finlayson to GMD and Billy Beament to VXR/DVP after the SAR TO. Both up 100% plus in the portfolio.
It's a good strategy and part of the answer to the "What now?" question that many will have after this marriage is consummated.
