Euro zone and US are both basket cases. Trying to deflate their currencies as a way out of the morass.
Personally, I keep an eye on interest rates. While they sit at zero in the US, I will stay in the gold sector. If they begin to rise, it's maybe time to reasses and lock in some profit.
Cannot see it happening any time soon.
One basic lesson they have not learned, or have not got the where with all to face up to.

Spend less than you earn.
