    Hi Megafauna,

    Its good to wander down a path of harmless speculation every now and then. For this question there are some clues in the optimum curve you alluded to.

    Based on the output versus diameter curve provided by CWE in their March 2014 shareholder update (Carnegie Roadshow, pg 19). A 30 m Buoyant Actuator would have ~ 1.8 to 2 times the output of Ceto 6. This would place it somewhere between a and b assuming that there is no improvement in the energy generating technology employed (e.g. improved efficiency) by the time they get to Model 7.0.
