While ever the company maintains its growth without any significant hiccups (in performance, regulatory, competition etc.) having a tight share register will be a boon for the SP as you have an increasing number of investors chasing a decreasing number of "available" shares (in general terms). I believe we have seen the effect of this over the past few months, helped along by Tencent soaking up 5% of the register and Afterpay's inclusion in the MSCI index.
