That's worse than shooting yourself in the foot - Its more like shooting yourself in the head! i.e. not an option for them. From what I gather Epangelo (and their JV partner) want to negotiate with EXT. The deal is one billion in cash to develop the mine - plus they come with an unlimited license to explore and mine anywhere in Namibia (even in the national park if you want). Unlikely CGNC or RIO can beat that.
