In relation to the 7 days the Corporation Act requires some more work. Firstly a day is usually measured in terms of 24 elapsed hours. Then what constitutes a day - is it a normal working day as ASX business cannot be transacted at weekends and this is what it is really about. What would happen over say a Xmas period.
The announcement was notified to the market on 7 December. Under normal contract conditions that would be deemed to be 7 days.
An interesting situation as penalties can apply.
