I notice that Blossomvale now has a controlling interest in NMS holding over 50% of the voting power. It is my understanding that under section 624(2) of the Corporations Act they must automatically extend the offer period so that it ends 14 days after the relevant event. This is set out in section 4.4 of teh Target Statement. It also seems that under the Act Blossomvale are required to provide notification of this entension within 3 days of the offer period ending. I have contacted the shareholders helpline but they didn't know and are checking on it. Does anyone have any knowledge on this matter. Is this interpretation correct?
