G,day Hardmano and others
In the very short term, we are off to drill another Cretaceous prospect, and although the HDR sp did not quite receive the full benefit of the Tiof find, the sp will be back into the 60s if the Cretaceous drill fails.
That seems to be the way, too little credit for the positives and too much punishment at the slightest stumble.
Our 2 Cretaceous failures so far do not inspire confidence, but they must be confident because they are going for 3 duds in a row, and we know that there are plenty more Miocene sites to drill. If a Cretaceous play finally comes in it will be a BIG bonus.
Perhaps the prevoius 2 dusters have taught the Tech staff a lesson about interpreting the Cretaceous seismic.
What we need is Chinguetti to be declared commercial, no doubt WPL will stall.
I liked the ROC ceo's comment the other day when he said in a round about way that there is still plenty of Miocene/salt domes to be drilled, his comments sounded very good humoured and confident.
