you realise that home grown production died because it couldn't compete with chinese imports right?
so either chinese goods go up in price to match the cost of the newly produce home grown products or wages go down to compete with the price of imported chinese goods.
either way, the purchasing power of the dollar is diminished in the short to near term.
also the whole notion of globalism championed by the us was about getting products and resources from low cost countries and now america wants to complain and change the plaing field because the other countries learnt how to game the system?
