Temasek and Lazard have picked up about 15 million shares on tuesday. So, the shorters need to scramble now to buy back the shares from the market - but, Temasek and Lazard would not dump. So, what will the shorters do now? I think their strategy has boomeranged :-)
On the other hand, ABS disclosed that the directors are vulnerable to further margin calls. If there is more shorting when the trading resumes on wednesday, again Temasek and Lazard will pick up stocks from the market - given that they were prepared on Tuesday, they will be more prepared now.
It is a very interesting situation, IMHO.
