I think what dr85 was trying to say is that the management look like they may be holding things close to their hearts to try and time the announcement or waiting for further results. (I thought this was just a thought / feeling from his part; given the fact we have not had results for a while now)
I also take your point, that unless you have clear facts showing the above - in which case you can report it; you shouldn't be saying it as it is implicating someone without clear facts.
