How many ASX 100 companies have zero gearing ? - very few.
Rufrano has indicated that the banks ARE willing to refinance all their loans on long term basis if they can lower their gearing to a more acceptable level. More acceptable level does not mean zero to me. Probably less than 50%.
Asset sales of $1 - 2 B should be sufficient.
