If the Liberals are going to learn from them, as the demographics of Australia tend away from Liberals anti-women and pro-religous policies/politicians... then that would be a good thing! They could learn to like giving women a fair go?
The LNP voters are swinging away from hard right, and religion.
Australia might bring a bunch of Islamic immigrants who will look for a religously supportive party. LNP could recruit them, but the old, stale, pale and male membership won't be too keen.
There may be more extreme religous lobbying - but as education strips the LNP of its power by unmasking make believe boogey men, they are going to have to come up with a new act.
