To get the optimum profit from the Kulu tailings project and other subsequent projects in the area such as Mutoshi Northwest and the Nioka deposits,they'll have to build an SXEW plant costing some $70mil or at least a small electric smelter that would produce black copper grading around 93%.
Until they have the funds for this exercise they'll be paying exorbitant treatment charges that will kill the bottom line on these new projects(eg it will cost them around $US275/t to treat the 60,000t of 30%concentrate that'll be produced from the Kulu project each year - that's $US16.5mil or the equiv of 44c/lb in treatment charges alone).
Don't know how much of the $70mil they could borrow or would want to borrow.
