someone on lateline was claiming that shorten is probably the best bet for the alp. rudd and gillard are just hopeless.
rudd is so hopeless - so much so that heaps of labor ministers, are on the public record stating how hopeless he is... and gillard - just as hopeless.
the deputy PM, is as some lib guy called him - a plucked duck - or for that matter a goose, would be an apt description. so swanee will never be leader - and one reason is, that he totally stuffed up the mining tax.
shorten is the only one , for the short term - but he will be opposition leader
