Pretty risky business hanging in this sector whilst countries such as Australia continue to push for elimination of the virus this time round as Victorians enter into a 'state of disaster' protocols. I mention this because lots of people seem to think that Australia will reopen its border to international travel in 2021. Perhaps international travel is open by then, but I speculate that it likely will be much more restrictive. Now with countries such as America, India and Brazil moving to an almost 'herd immunity' mentality whilst they pray that for researchers to push out a vaccine, I see travel around Australia and the world to be extensively restricted for the foreseeable future.
Might be safer gambles out there on the ASX compared to this sector. Most likely an unpopular opinion, but I feel like too many investors are overly optimistic with the future of this sector because of the "this stock will bounce its been sold down so much" mentality.
