If it is a crime all of a sudden to only deliver average returns, (without even considering risk weighted returns) there is no future. By definition there will be returns above and below average. The only super that is guaranteed above average is the Aged Pension where regardless of the level of contribution individual makes, and the state of financial markets, the taxpayers of Australia will guarantee you an indexed pension of 25% of average earnings, till you die.

This is too good to be true, and would be good to have that addressed instead of being ignored. It will come unstuck one day as state collapses.
