There are people talking about ORG at "7" or "6" .....but nobody is backing that talk with money. On friday (17/11) short interest was 4m shares (.025%). As at 20/11 short interest was 1.2m shares (0.07%). If the price was really going to drop to the levels talked about, you would think there would be folks taking short positions on that. They are not.
The AGL case is instructive: The unsolicited Brookfield bid was $7.5. It got the boot in May '22 and predictions abounded about years of stagnation, dramatic falls, doom yada yada.........And today, with no alternate bider, AGL closed at $10.24.
