Based on what I have read here this morning, I would say ME has lost his independent title. Whether that is a concern or not is up to the SH's and market to decide and I would imagine the ASX might be slightly interested as well, as any mention would surely be incorrect information.
How you could loan money @14% ( obviously regarded as high risk) to the company you work for whilst leading the decision making on the future direction and still claim arms length independence is laughable..
