I agree on this. I am not a fan of these generous parental schemes. In life we make lifestyle decisions. If I want to have a family I don't expect others (taxpayers) to pay for my $100K salary for the privelege. There are better ways to introduce policies that allow mothers (or fathers) to combine family and work life.
