I think you need to work out why you are in this stock and what would have to happen to cause you to sell. If you can't answer both questions without hesitation you are just hoping.
There are plenty of good sources for stockmarket education. Use Google and buy some quality trading books.
For what it's worth -I'd sell BHP right away. This is what I think of BHP:
