you obviously have not been to ALDI much....the place screams busy.
and they , as said by others, know their business....that is why they have been able to open over 350 stores here in such a short time. No shareholders to make happy...family business (more or less)
And they use shopping trolleys that don't require balliffs to retrieve them....how smart is that?
Or rather how stufpid is Coles and WW.?
Their margins are , I think, rather better than you quote. ... as they have stuff made especially for them in many of their goods.
No dummies here. And stealing 11 % of market is a big dent....even if they are small... if your 11% figure is correct, that is a huge dent.
Personaly I don't shop much at Aldi....selection is poor...but some things there keep drawing me into the store....they are good at that.....and that is why they are successful. Germany is the same...yet they are successful there too.
