Masters is the elephant in the room. It is a poorly conceived, poorly run and more importantly poorly promoted sector of the business.. EVERYONE knows about Bunnings and Harvey Norman, why? Because they are in your face day in....day out. Gerry Harvey is absolutely brilliant at what he does and he has been doing it for years.
Masters seems to be the regarded as the poor cousin of the Woolies empire. They should either get stuck into it, head-hunt a person who is an expert at hardware retail, let them run the business without interruption or bite the bullet and shut it down. But that would probably bruise a few egos
