When you guys talk of write downs can you explain why you think slr will have them?
NCM had a 6 billion dollar write down however they are the largest gold mining company in aust and the most heavily weighted when it comes to fund managers allocation of funds. NCM has also been having production issues for a while so I write down was always on the cards and when the price of gold dropped a write down was really a necessary thing to do.
Slr on the other hand has no production issues and is progressively ramping up production and growing as a company. This is on top of a rising gold price that seems to have bottomed out?
I personally don't think that slr needs to have a formal write down given.
