Work currently being done on a scandinavian uranium reactor to see if it can be transformed to burn thorium could have huge effects on the uranium market in the coming years. Thorium reactors can also be built to any size you want so you could theoretically build one just to power a steel plant, a small town or a city. Additionally almost every country has thorium China for example has enough for over 20000 years. India also has substantial deposits. Dont ignore the obvious problems of nuclear power from uranium when a safe alternative is possibly just around the corner!
