From what I understand, it may allow for reduced operating costs and open up previously inaccessible deposits for uranium. It also could potentially have applications to oil and other mineral processing.
If the ablation tech is reputable (again, I don't know how to value it, so I'm assigning it a value of zero) and ends up being widely adopted, you could potentially sustain a business on the revenue generated from that alone.
