I just don't think this should be the number 1 priority when much of Australia is in drought. We could be building a water network.
It'd be a shame to open your internet fridge and find no fresh Australian produce don't you think?
No question fast internet will have benefits but I wonder if they should take precedence over solving water and energy issues. That $43bn on a broadband network is $43bn not being spent somewhere else. Unless we go deeper into debt.
