Someone posted about the 22metres of oil saturated strata above the Middle Triassic, and I hadn't really noticed that. So I spent some time going through the recent posts and added up all the oil zones that have been noted. What!!! It came to 59metres NOT including the current 18 metres that we have just penetrated of the Middle Triassic. Yes a total so far of 77 metres.
Jurassic... 2705-2719. 12 metres
Jurassic... 2798-2817. 19 metres
Triassic A- 2855-2861 .. 6 metres
Triassic A- 2912-2934. 22 metres
Total 59 metres
Middle Triassic (so far) 18 metres
Grand Total 77 metres
I think the wireline loggs at the end of drilling are going to be a lot of fun. I don't know what all these extra oil zones mean but I don't think it is bad news. JPR are expecting another 102 metres of Middle Triassic which would make a grand grand Total of 179 metres, which just makes me giddy. And I only noticed this a few minutes ago.
