WFE is a PUBLICLY LISTED COMPANY, not a Private Company.

Directors of PUBLICLY LISTED COMPANY are REQUIRED to comply with Continuous Disclousure Regulations of ASX and ASIC, by updating Shareholders via ASX forum of public releases.

That is the way for the public (via ASIC) and shareholders to hold directors accountable. Refer to GSW as an example of holding directors and company accountable: currently both ASIC and shareholders are suing GSW directors for misleading and deceptive conduct. A win for ASIC could mean a million dollar fine against the director/s of GSW. In addition, there is a class action lawsuit against both the company (GSW) and directors, by shareholders.

Now, how do you hold the director/s accountable via a private phone call?!?

Furthermore, if the director/s had imparted to you information that is not publicly available by accident (an accidental slip), then you and maybe the director/s in question (in some circumstances) could be charged by ASIC with a crime. Yes, we all know WFE is currently in suspension, but there has been hints on this forum that they could be trading again soon, which means you could put yourself at risk of being accused of insider trading.

Its safer for all concern, that directors of publicly listed companies update the market via ASX forums. That way, all shareholders are informed. And it is a protection for you (the shareholder), the public and the director/s.

Lets remember this, WFE had been updating the market and shareholders via ASX releases.

Why should it change to private conversations now?

Why can't the company update the market via ASX forums as it did in the past?

Shareholders have been waiting for updates on the March Quarterly (in particular the cashflow statement); the licence update; the status of the Binding HOA; offtake agreements; funding; EGM and timeframe for re-listing.
