I think the days of analysts having any "Recommendation" ability are far gone. We've seen time and again the illogical, random, manipulated movements of stocks both here and abroad.

Someone tell me the supportable foundation as to why the DOW jumped 900 points earlier this year and then dropped well below this mark. I can tell you it had nothing to do with the stock market and the stocks performance within that exchange.

So with international communications and the technology / tools to trade at near instant time steps, these analysts have no clue as to what is happening.

Analysts are a dying to dead occupation unless they want to just "analyse" the factors that are known. They have no credibility when it comes to trends, predictions call them what you like.
