yeah it can happen... my loss was purely OZL related.. a margin loan of about 30% when it was high $3 ...at $1.50 it was over 65%...on a very large position...i got the letter that all was ok on sept 28th..Prominant hill was onky months away, they didnt need to borrow any more money and 1 bill in the bank... within 5 weeks..the shares were frozen..(so I couldnt exit if i wanted to) then the margin lenders cut the margin and sold off everything else i had at the absolute bottom, then reduced the margin again (whilst frozen) so I had to borrow..and then cut the margin out completely...thus more borrowings to pay it out.. For me to pay what i owed was the right thng..rather than hands in the air too hard and start over (and others dont get what they are owed) So its small steps... but we have a roof over our heads, food o the table..so compared to many we are well off...the difference is massive paymenst each month..
