What's a fair offer from Pfizer?, page-23

I agree with @AlCp. Some of the posts here (and in other threads) are crazy. $1 a share fair value? Just think about it a moment.

Pfizer are offering to buy the business, this quarter, for $100M. Post the recent Covid-results, the market (that is, you lot) were valuing the business at maximum 9c/sh or $77.3M. So Pfizer are offering a premium of almost 28% on the prior close, and ~40% on the 90 day VWAP. If the business is really worth far more than that (at $0.50 or $1 per share), then the simple question is - why were none of you buying it up at 9c, drying up the supply and pushing up the price? Simple supply/demand question. Even if you somehow get a revised offer at say 18-20c a share, that's still a massive premium (100%!) to what all the incumbent/new shareholders were willing to pay, prior to Pfizer's name getting involved.

Someone quoted an email from Brian on another thread where he sounded quite exasperated about the shareholder complaints, and noted that Pfizer were willing to pay a premium when the market itself clearly was not bidding the price up on its own. That says a lot.
