Hello all,
Im doing some research on LGL and was stunned to discover that their gross cash costs have rocketed from $547 (Q4 07) to $722 in (Q1 08). This is reported in their latest quarterly financial report (see page 8), and comes before a footnote that says 'Gross cash costs have been restated to include production levy introduced in 2007'.
Do any posters here know what a Production Levy is? Ive asked the company via email for a response to this question. All of a sudden, having run some numbers on estimated future production, LGL aint looking that attractive anymore...
