Nolan, an impressive lineup of videos you posted earlier promoting alternative batteries but talk and vision is easy compared to production and a couple of points need to be made.

Although Sodium Ion batteries are currently being installed in a few Chinese EVs they are only being fitted to the base models where a low sticker price is more important than value for money. BYD and CATL accelerated the development of Sodium Ion cells when the Lithium price skyrocketed a couple of years ago but progress was difficult and although they are now in production their power density means that Sodium batteries are more suited to fixed installations than mobile applications.

Graphene, Graphite and Carbon are all the same thing and none of them can be the active ingredient in a battery, you have to have a metal willing to release and take up electrons. Every rechargeable Lithium (or Sodium) Ion battery has a carbon based Anode, the Cathode can be any number of reactive metal alloys. You can post any number of videos about Graphene batteries that are truthful because the said batteries do have carbon in them but deceitful because although the graphene is an essential part of the cells it isn't the active ingredient.

Solid state batteries mainly refer to Lithium SSBs, there are Sodium SSBs but none have even reached the power density of Lithium Ion yet even in labs so their potential is limited for EVs. Despite the claims by Toyota, Quantumscape and others no one has actually released a commercially viable Lithium SSB yet but if and when they do it will take a very big development elsewhere in the battery field to match it.

The current relatively low price for Lithium means that with its natural advantage of being the lightest, most reactive metal element in the known universe it will consolidate its status as the most favoured battery material for the foreseeable future. There will be another shortage of Lithium at some stage resulting in a price increase which may give an alternative battery type an opportunity for some applications but no matter how many snazzy, click bait videos are produced Lithium cells will reign supreme for EVs
