We've known for a long time the Botswana coal is too poor quality to be worth anything much, certainly in the current environment.

There are trillions of tons of better quality coal around the world that will be mined before anybody resorts to a major mine in Botswana IMO. The most we are likely to see is a small truck and shovel operation for local supply.
