Was obvious from the opening bell that SP was going to take a tumble today. Almost non-existent liquidity. Most probably somebody wanted out or an opportunist manipulator. Either way, makes no difference, except perhaps to dent confidence. Proof of the pudding will be in the eating (fundamental results) and not the vagaries of day to day illiquid trading. Financially, for investors, just an uncomfortable waiting period. Much, much more than that at stake for those hoping, praying for some degree of demonstrable and sanctioned drug efficacy. Trofinetide has made a promising start in this respect, but there is still a long road to hoe before a definitive answer will be delivered.
