I am in though with cold hard cash.....not my super account.
Its all good. I will take the hit. Life goes on.
One has to call it a day at some stage and I reckon we are there now.
I know nothing more than anyone else but I do think the company will be wound up now.
The public trustee is a government department.
They can get this write off covered by our tax payer money in their next budget to the government.
OCV has approx 700 million worth of assets.
They owe more than this.
I believe its all in the courts hands now and OCV is just fumbling to do their best at fighting a non winning battle in the courts.
The Public trustee of QLD, NAB, ASIC, Challenger....they all have a perfect case....they are owed money..they want it now.
OCV can disput it all they like but they are a punch drunk boxer in the corner of a ring with many trying to throw the white towel in for them...yet they try to keep fighting.
If ever I have seen a losing fight..this is it.
I am cool with it all...it was decision gone bad for me but one which I will learn from.
Sad situation for many but thats life. We just need to call it at some point and move on.
