whats considered a reasonable hrly rate

I have come across many people who feel that $25 hr (casual rate) is not worth it.Just presenting a product .Very easy role. Indoors.

What are the thoughts of others..

I thought with unemployment rising , it would be appealing..
the contracts were for 3 months, yet got very few applicants...
